About Us

We are located in S W Wisconsin near the beautiful Mississippi River. Mountain horses are prized for their smooth 4-beat gait. You can travel comfortably for hours with no bouncy trot. Many people with back problems that can not ride a trotting horse, can ride a gaited mountain horse without problems. Mountain horses have lots more to offer than a smooth ride. They are people friendly, eager to please, calm and sensible. They are sturdy and are easy keepers. They have sturdy hooves and we trail ride them barefoot without problems. They don’t need fancy barns, blankets and special care. All of ours thrive with run in shelters in all weather. Take a look at the horses we have for sale. Come and visit them and you will see why we think Rocky Mountain and Kentucky Mountain horses are the best choice for a dependable horse.

Our Stallion

Horse Name: Phoenix Rose Description: Phoenix is black and both of his parents are chocolate. His pedigree traces back to the foundation stallion Tobe and contains other well known names including Clemon’s Tim, Dock Holiday and Blue Smokin’ Sambo. He has been tested and found to not carry the red gene. He is certified to breed Kentucky and Rocky certification is pending. Ask about breeding your mare to him in the spring. All mares will have their own individual stall and daily turnout. The introductory rate is $250 with mare care at $5.00 per day dry or $7.50 per day with foal.
